Wedding invitations by WhatsApp, with a personal link for each guest
WhatsApp is where your guests already are, from the cousins to the colleagues. With EverAfter, each guest gets a message written in their language, with their own link. They tap it, the invitation opens in their browser with their name on it, and they reply right there. No group chat, no forwarded PDF.

What your guest receives
This is the message EverAfter prepares for Sofia, a guest of the sample couple, with the preview WhatsApp shows for the link: your names, your venue and a picture in your design.

Hello Sofia, Camille & Alex would love to celebrate their wedding with you. Open your personal invitation for the details and to reply. https://ever-after.ch/invite/sofia
A message ready to send
In each guest’s panel, the WhatsApp button opens a chat with them and a message already written: a hello with their name, a line about your wedding and their personal link. Read it, add a word if you like, and press send. The button appears once your invitation is published and their mobile number is saved with its country code, such as +41.
A preview worth opening
For the link, WhatsApp shows a card with your names, your venue and a picture in the design you chose, in the guest’s language. It never shows the date or the guest’s name, because links get forwarded.
You still know who has seen it
Mark the invitation as shared once you have sent it. Your guest list then shows when a guest opens it and when they reply; WhatsApp loading the preview does not count as an open. If you change something later, EverAfter lists who should hear about it and prepares that WhatsApp message too.
Or by email, for those who prefer it
For guests with an email address, EverAfter can send the invitation for you: one email each, in their language, with a button to their invitation. Send some invitations by WhatsApp and others by email, and your guest list shows which have gone out.
Questions about sending by WhatsApp
Is it all right to send a wedding invitation by WhatsApp?
That is for you and your guests to judge. What helps: each guest receives a personal message rather than a post in a group, with an invitation that carries their name. Guests who prefer paper can get a card with their QR code, and others an email.
Does EverAfter send the WhatsApp messages for us?
No. WhatsApp messages leave from your own phone or computer: EverAfter opens the chat with the message ready, and you press send. Emails are the only messages EverAfter can send for you.
Do guests need WhatsApp or an app to open it?
No. The link opens in any browser, so you can also send it by SMS, by email or through another messenger. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
Can we post one link in a group chat?
No, and that is the point: each link belongs to one guest and opens with their name, their language and their part of the day. Send each guest their own message; your guest list shows who still needs theirs.
