QR code cards

A wedding invitation with a QR code for every guest

Some guests will always want a card in their hands, and a printed invitation is still lovely to give. EverAfter gives every guest their own QR code. Print it on a card or add it to the stationery you order: when the guest scans it, their personal invitation opens on their phone, ready for their reply.

A QR card, as you can print it

This is the card EverAfter lays out for each guest, with your names, the guest’s name and their code. The code in this example opens the sample invitation: scan it with your phone to try.

Print it yourselves, or give it to your printer

In each guest’s panel, download their QR code as PNG or SVG, or print their card straight from the browser. Hand the codes to a stationer or print shop, place them in your own design, or print the simple card at home. Keep the white border around the code and print it at least 3 cm wide.

One code, one guest

The code holds only that guest’s personal link. Scanning it opens the invitation with their name in the greeting, in their language and with the parts of the day meant for them. If you change a detail later, the code stays the same and opens the latest version.

Made on our own server

EverAfter draws the codes itself, so your guests’ links are never sent to an outside QR code service. A code works for as long as your guest links are open: 24 months from your payment.

Paper and digital, side by side

You can send the link to most guests and a card to those who prefer paper. Either way, they reply through the same form, and every answer lands in one guest list, however the invitation reached them.

Questions about QR code invitations

Can we print the codes before we pay?

Yes. Each guest’s code is ready as soon as they are on your list, free like your draft. Guests can open the invitation once you have published it, so publish before the cards go out.

What if we change something after printing?

There is nothing to reprint. The code leads to the guest’s personal link, and the link always shows the latest published version of your invitation.

Can guests without a smartphone still reply?

Someone they trust can scan the code, or type the link printed under it, and reply for them through the same form.

Is one code enough for a couple or a family?

Yes, if you invite them as one guest: they can bring as many people as you allow and name them in their reply. For separate replies, add each person as a guest, and each gets their own code.
