The wedding it suits
Zurich Modern is for a city wedding at any time of year: a civil ceremony, then dinner in a restaurant, a loft or a museum. The photograph looks over the old town of Zurich and the Limmat, and the rest is white, black and one Swiss red, in the language of Swiss posters. It suits couples who like clean lines and want an invitation that feels designed rather than decorated.
The date stands in large numerals above your names, which are set in Archivo at its boldest. Fine grid lines sit behind the opening, the sections below are numbered, the schedule is a timeline and the buttons are square. As the invitation opens, the photograph comes into focus like a camera lens, then your names fade up. If some guests come only to the civil ceremony and the apéro, guest groups show each of them only the moments they are invited to.
