The wedding it suits
Darkroom suits couples with a photograph they love, or a photographer in the family: a city wedding, a relaxed celebration, a couple who keep a film camera on the shelf. The photograph becomes a black-and-white frame on a strip of film, on off-white paper with black text and an orange accent. As it comes, it shows a still life of flowers in a vase, but it is made to carry a picture of your own.
The names, headings, date and place are set in Courier Prime like a typewriter, the date stamped in orange as on an old print, and film sprockets run between the sections. The schedule is a timeline and the buttons are square. When a guest opens the invitation, the photograph comes into focus like a camera lens. Your own photograph turns black and white on the film strip as well, even if it was taken in colour.
Prefer a photograph of your own? Choose “Make it yours” in the Design tab and upload one: the layout, colours and type stay those of Darkroom until you change them.
